Lizzy Savetsky has left The Real Housewives of New York Cityseason 14 one month after she was announced as a housewife.

Lizzy gained a hefty Instagram following as a fashion influencer and matchmaker. She was announced as a member of a rebooted RHONY at BravoCon in October.

She was originally slated for The Real Housewives of Dallas season 6 before the show was canceled.

On November 16, 2022, Lizzy Savetsky announced her departure from RHONY season 14 due to alleged antisemitism. "I thought participating in [RHONY] would be a great chance to represent people like me and share my experience," Lizzy wrote, adding that "This path was no longer right for me and my family."

While Lizzy's announcement implied that she chose to leave, however, several clues online have led fans to believe that Lizzy was let go from RHONY season 14.

Rumors are that Brynn Whitfield and Lizzy had already had a dispute.

Brynn reportedly asked Orthodox Jew Lizzy if she’d set her up with a Jewish man. Sources said Lizzy declined, saying she prefers to only set up Jews with other Jews. She added that Orthodox Jews favor marriages between Jews to preserve the ethnic lineage. We’re told that she explained that Judaism is not just a belief system, but also a people.

Sources say that Brynn Whitfield felt affronted and said that Lizzy Savetsky’s use of words sounded like terminology that is used by “horrific people [meaning Nazis] who did evil things to your people.” This reportedly shocked and upset Savetsky.

According to multiple inside sources, the tension led to an off-camera phone call between Savetsky and Whitfield, during which they discussed the power of racial slurs.

Page Six reports that Brynn Whitfield, who is half-Black, used the N-word during the class. Lizzy Savetsky apparently got the impression that Whitfield planned to tell other cast members that she had also used a racial slur during the phone call.

Sources close to the reality show say that Savetsky’s plastic surgeon husband, Dr. Ira Savetsky, was outraged and reported the alleged incident to the show’s producers. Unfortunately, he did not censor himself and said the word in full. He did apologize, but it looked like the damage was already done for the pair.
